Our Kindergarten Buddies

Since the beginning of the year, each person in 5/6R has had a buddy in KW. We meet every two weeks in the afternoon and do different activities with our buddies.

My buddy is very kind, cute and pretty. Whenever she sees me she always gives me a hug. For me, she is like a little sister. When I return to Mauritius I'm going to give this idea to the principal of my school.

One activity we did together was to weave paper to make the body of a frog. At the first buddy meeting we performed magic tricks. My trick was disappearing & appearing pom-poms.

My buddy treats me like an older sister. She is very good at art and sport. The last time we met we made snow flakes together out of paper. We folded up the paper and then we cut shapes out. When we opened it up there was a beautiful snow flake.

My buddy is really playful and happy all the time.

My buddy likes talking about her baby sister. She also likes drawing and talking about her favourite colour, which is red. She is shy but very cheerful around people she knows.

Our buddy is very intelligent because she picks up new things quickly and doesn't play with scissors when she is using them for cutting. She likes having fun and when she hugs us sometimes she squeezes so hard we get a tummy ache.
